Qatar, the host country of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, enters the real world competition to make up for the crushing defeat suffered at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

Qatar will participate in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which will be held between Canada and the United States from June 24 to July 26. Qatar was placed in Group B along with favorites Mexico, Haiti, and Honduras through a group draw held at SoFi Stadium in California last weekend.

Qatar broke with head coach Felix Sanchez after being helplessly eliminated from the last World Cup with a 3-game losing streak, and appointed head coach Carlos Queiroz, who led Iran’s heyday. This Gold Cup is the first international competition held since Queiroz took over. Qatar will prepare for this Gold Cup by convening players after the 2022-2023 Qatar Stars League ends in mid-May.

For Qatar, this Gold Cup is a rehearsal for the AFC Asian Cup, which will be held at home in January next year. Qatar has reached the top at the 2019 AFC UAE Asian Cup, and since this tournament is held at home, it is mentioned as one of the leading candidates for the championship.바카라

This is not the first time Qatar has participated in the Gold Cup. In 2021, he also participated in the Gold Cup and advanced to the semifinals. In this Gold Cup, 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups to play a group stage and then a cross tournament. Tickets to the Quarterfinal Tournament will be given to the 2nd place in the group.
