Kim Jung-hyun cannonball mid-range goal… Anyang, K-League 2 5th → 1st place jump

 Professional football K League 2 (Part 2) FC Anyang jumped from 5th to 1st in the league thanks to Kim Jung-hyun’s two goals.

Anyang won a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Seoul E-Land안전놀이터 in the Hana 1 Q K League 2 2023 held at Mokdong Sports Complex on the 25th.

With 31 points from 9 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses, Anyang moved up from 5th to 1st in the league ahead of Busan on many points. Losing Seoul E-Land stayed in 7th place with 23 points from 7 wins, 2 draws and 8 losses.

Jeonnam Dragons won 2-1 in an away game against Gimpo FC held at Gimpo Salter Soccer Field that day.

Jeonnam rose from 9th to 8th in the league with 7 wins, 2 draws and 8 losses with 23 points. Gimpo stayed in 6th place with 27 points from 7 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses.

Jeonnam took the lead with Jeong Ho-jin’s goal in the 29th minute of the first half, but allowed Lewis to equalize with a header goal in the 33rd minute. Jeonnam won a dramatic victory with Valdivia’s goal in the 44th minute of the second half.

Chungnam Asan won 1-0 in the home game against Ansan Greeners held at Asan Yi Sun-sin Stadium that day.

Seoul E-Land Yoo Jeong-wan scored the opening goal in the 9th minute of the first half, but Anyang Kim Jung-hyun scored an equalizer in the 3rd minute of the second half. Kim Jung-hyun shook the net with a powerful mid-range shot in the 13th minute of the second half.

Chungnam-Asan jumped from 11th to 9th with 6 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses with 21 points. Ansan ranked 12th out of 13 teams in the league with 2 wins, 4 draws, 10 losses and 10 points.

Chungnam Asan Park Min-seo scored the winning goal after making a solo breakthrough with a dribble near the center line in the 29th minute of the first half when the score was 0-0.
