Court arrest of President Yoon’s mother-in-law… ‘Balance proof counterfeiting’ appeal trial

Choi Eun-soon (76), the mother-in-law of President Yoon Seok-yeol안전놀이터, was arrested in court on the 21st in an appeal trial related to charges such as forgery of bank account balance certificates.

At the sentencing hearing held at the hearing of the 3rd Criminal Division of the Uijeongbu District Court (Chief Judge Lee Seong-gyun), the judge dismissed the defendant’s appeal, saying, “There is no reason to accept the defendant’s appeal given the overall circumstances.”

Previously, Choi was sentenced to one year in prison in the first trial, but she was not brought into court custody.
