“Be healthy until we meet again”… A letter from the late Corporal Chae’s mother to her son
A letter left by the mother of Corporal Chae Su-geun, a member of the Marine Corps, who was swept away by a torrent during a night search operation at a flooded site in Yecheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do and was eventually found dead, has been revealed, adding to the sadness.
From the 20th, a post titled ‘Written by the deceased토토사이트 Marine Corps parents when their son enlisted a few months ago’ was shared on various online communities.
The attached photo contains a letter written on March 23 by a publisher with the nickname ‘1292 Chae Su-geun Mom Namwon’ at the ‘Marine Corps Family Gathering’ cafe.
Corporal Chae’s mother said, “To Su-geun, who wants to see my son. Even in the middle of the night, I wake up several times, and my son thinks about what to do now. Since he is still in an unfamiliar environment, I think he is in the stage of adapting.”
“In the morning, I turn on my PC and go to a cafe to see if there are any announcements or other news. It’s so nice to be in the position of like-minded parents and share it,” he said. “I’m so proud of my son Su-geun, who is always full of energy. Let’s be healthy and cheer up until the day we meet,” he cheered for his son.
Corporal Chae, who belonged to the Marine Corps 1st Division, participated in a search operation for missing persons due to recent heavy rain damage around 9:00 am on the 19th in the area of Naeseongcheon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
At the time, soldiers who went out to search, including Corporal Chae, were not even provided with basic safety equipment such as life jackets, leading to criticism that the search was unreasonable.
